JUNE 15, 2020 when Joniver Juane, an educator, thought of building up Mall Easy as an online shopping mall which he envisions as the world's most preferred place to buy, sell and do business online. Without idea where and how this is going to be, he started it.

Without any knowledge in web page development and e-commerce, Joniver researched on those subjects until coming up with a website after a week.

Mall Easy came from the words Mall and easy since the vision of its founder is that it is going to make shopping easy. But you know what, there's even a deeper background why the founder chose the name Mall Easy.

When he was around 9 years, Joniver was asked by one of his uncles if he'd ever been to Molisi (sounds like Mall Easy). His uncle described Molisi as a place just in front of Jolibee. During the early '90s, Jollibee restaurants are just found in Manila. Joniver would experience going to Manila only when he would visit the relatives of his grandmother(this happens once in his life) or when his family would fetch or bring someone from or to the airport. One jeepney of relatives would bring to or fetch from the airport a Filipino Overseas Worker. It's been a tradition way back the 80's and 90's. Joniver answered, "yes," to his uncle remembering that they passed by a Jollibee restaurant on their way to Manila and coming back to their home, south of Manila. His uncle laughed at him since Molisi was not even existing.

From time to time Joniver would remember the word Molisi because it gave him the "shameful" feeling especially there were times that he was bullied for that, "I've been to Molisi" claims.

Before the lockdown due to COVID-19 struck, Joniver was working for a company making online shopping mall webpages. Since every day, he would meet the word "mall"; and it is also in the attitude and mindset of Joniver to have that instinct of finding the easier way of doing things. Suddenly, the word "MALL" and "EASY" popped up of his mind and voila, Mall Easy was born!
